Who am I?

Who am I? What a philosophical question right at the start of an experience called Blogging ! Well. You can consider me naive, belonging to stone-age, or whatever that I discovered the joys of blogging so late when practically the whole world has been using this for such a long while as an outlet of their emotions, to settle scores ( read the much spoken and written about blogs of Amir Khan / Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan). Anyway so back to the question of WHO AM I?

When you consider this question it can be answered in several ways. One could answer it with a brief or long description of one's roots, family, educational professional background and so on. One could also answer this question with an insight into one's self, belief system, values and morals and delve deep into a self-analysis mode. Or one may take a safe way out and admit to belonging to one of the clans, tribes and hope that the stereotypical images which help explain what one means and still leave an ambiguous room open to steer clear of any potentially damaging situations.

But in reality the question remains unanswered most of times, at least to oneself. I guess one’s moods, governed so heavily by circumstances, shapes one’s own perceptions and also that of others on who one is.

So should we indulge in this exercise at all? I believe, yes, if we want to stay clear of frustrations and stress emanating out of not being able to come to terms with reality and the resulting inability to adjust our moods to the situation. An in-depth analysis of one’s own Self is so very important to clearly understand our strengths and weaknesses and be in control of our own destiny, so often shaped by our own actions and deeds.

So go ahead and reflect on your life thus far, analyze the best and the worst moments, the successes and failures at work, the failed relationships, the conflicts that may still be so deeply etched in your memory. Try then to reason out to yourself honestly and without justification of your own actions on what happened and what could have been. Talk to your loved ones and the people who matter to you at work and bare your heart with them. Get their inputs on your own rationalizations and rework your line of reasoning.

I strongly believe that if a SWOT is built based on this reflection, you will have a strong platform on which to build your successful future.

I will be back with my moods and impressions about issues and life in general, in Bangalore and elsewhere where I travel.

Good Luck.
